Matthew Storer was born in 1985 and raised in west central Indiana, in a small town a short distance from Indianapolis. He grew up in a Christian home and was home schooled through most of high school. He started playing computer games early in his life and became engrossed in them. It didn't take long before he was hosting LAN parties, building custom gaming rigs, hosting servers, and helping in game design. In the summer of 2008 he and his wife Bethany moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico to attend the Calvary of Albuquerque School of Ministry. It was during this time that he came to realize that playing video games and having LAN parties didn't mean checking God at the door for the duration, but rather God could use them to connect him to a world that was lost and needing a Savior.
